<p>The practical effect for validators has been a sharp improvement in withdrawal processing times. Wait times for full validator withdrawals now average just one minute, compared to the extended, sometimes multi-week delays that characterized the network during periods of heavy exit demand. That improvement means the network can now absorb new validator entries and exits in something close to real time, a significant operational improvement for Ethereum's staking infrastructure.</p>
<p>The queue's clearance has occurred alongside continued growth in overall staking participation rather than a decline in interest in running validators. Approximately 34% of Ethereum's total ETH supply is now locked in staking contracts, up from around 29% at the beginning of the year, with total staked ETH climbing to 40.9 million, a 14% year-over-year increase that has pushed the network's staking ratio to a record 33.97% of overall supply.</p>
